Firefly Climbing Hydrangea

Hydrangea anomala petiolaris 'Firefly'

I just planted this at the foot of our silver maple - it gets good sun, so I hope it takes off next year! It is tiny right now (maybe 4" square)

Full sun to part shade

Spring to fall

30' tall vine

Green-yellow variegated climbing Hydrangea that really shines in spring. In summer the gold margin turns to chartreuse. Plant near oak tree or on westward facing brick wall.

Oooh! Very pretty. I'll have to keep an eye out for this Hydrangea.
