    We started some shasta daisies from seed back in, oh, February?<br/><br/>At this point, they're potted up, sitting nicely on the front stoop, looking exactly like a lettuce.<br/><br/>Not a flower or bud to be seen.<br/><br/>So, I'm jealous of your ethereal, if moody, daisies.<br/><br/>Good job!

    Well I bought mine from a nursery already in bloom last summer so your task is much harder. Perhaps when they get into the ground? None of the things I started from seed this winter are likely to bloom this year. They are growing well, but no sign of any kind of flowering. So, I am just not going to expect any color from them until next year. Such is the life of a cold climate gardener! I did Jacob's Ladder, Coreopsis, Digitalis (Foxglove) and Oriental Poppy. Oh, except I just remembered that the Veronica I started from seed is blooming and spreading already but that is the only one.
