As a kid, I remember plucking these off the sides of trees all the time. I found one husk a few months back, all by himself in a local Asheville park.

I have *never* seen such a collection of husks and bugs at the same time.

Wow! My last memory of Cicadas was from childhood. I remember going to my friend's house and her yard was completely covered. I want to say that we didn't have them in our yard, even though her house was down the bloack and around the corner.
