What a difference a couple of miles makes. We did get frost last night, but I didn't bother to cover anything and by the time I was outside this morning everything seemed fine. I tried covering our lilac bushes because their blossoms are really starting to smell great. But the bush is so large, it was impossible. So, I just brought all my sheets inside and hoped for the best. I think we survived without any real damage at all. Even the blueberries seem OK.

By the way, I've been enjoying your pictures of the bleeding heart. It's fun to follow them on the Dicentra RSS feed here: http://greenthumbr.com/plants/dicentra/images.rss - you can really see the progression of your plant over time - from the end of March when it was just emerging - to this nice shot from today.
