So today was one of those fun days where work actually took us out of the office. We meet with the client to learn more about their housing community. One big selling point for their community is that they have preserved about 2/3 of the land for hiking, camping and such.
It was a full day and I'm beat, but I wanted to share a few pictures with you.
They had tons of rhododendron on the property. Really huge rhododendron at that. I can't to go visit the area again when all of it is in bloom.
I saw a few of these pretty little plants. Does anyone know what this is?
Many of the trees bottoms were covered in velvety moss.
We happened upon a log with some really neat fungi growing out of it.
More of the same log.
Also from the same log. it was really covered.
I wanted to take more pictures but since many things are still in hiding, are leafless, and flowerless....finding identifiable plants was tricky.
I'll have to see if my camera man got any more good plant shots. :)
