  <p>So, after I planted my kangaroo paw in the fall, the garden flooded during the winter rains. The daylilies loved it, but it seemed like the Kangaroo Paw was really unhappy. I was afraid I was going to lose them, but lo and behold, as soon as the weather started to warm up I got some blooms.. They are still small in comparison to the others I see around town, but they are hanging in there!</p>
