    Well, we've already have several days above 90, and one weekend where it was 98, so it's full-on summer here already.  My peppers had no excuse for their slackery, unless you count malnourishment :)<br/><br/>Habeneros?  You are a braver soul than I.

    Pleased to see that the peppers have perked up.  Just curious, why pull the flowers off the cucumber.  Doesn't that prevent it from fruiting (which prevents the cuke from forming)?

    Right.  It's still a tiny little seedling (less than 10" long), so I want it to put its energy into root production and strong vines, not fruit just yet.  I've been pulling flowers off my tomatoes until they're at least 3feet high too.
