    Lucky that that hail passed you by!  Hail strikes fear into even the hardest of gardener hearts.  Or at least in mine anyway.  I come from a line of cotton farmers and have seen an entire year's work wiped out in one storm.  Of course, that's what crop insurance is for.  But I can't really insure my tomatoes and peppers in the back yard, eh?<br/><br/>FWIW, if it were me, I'd probably remove the toxic berry bush if toddlers are going to be hanging around there.    Sometimes berries are just too juicy looking.
