Did the rounds of the yard yesterday, and noticed small flowers on my hollyish type of shrub/tree thing.
Starting taking some shots, and noticed a bee. Then another bee. Bees are hard to shoot.
Then I stumbled across some ladybugs. I'm normally only aware of ladybugs when they're swarming the bedroom, so to find a few just happily and non-obtrusively scattered outside was somewhat out-of-character.
I also checked on the Hawthorn tree. It was covered in flowers last month, but this month there are not an equal number of fruits. I felt like there were fewer bees on it this year, and I guess fewer flowers actually got pollinated.
