My Coleus spent a good long time looking like dwarf clover.
But boy-oh-boy, it's taken off now. I seem to have a few different variety growing.
There's still Mr Mongo, the largest of the bunch.
I have one that seems to be perhaps a white-dominant variety.
And another that is just mottled all willy-nilly.
I've truly enjoyed growing the Coleus from seed. It germinated like crazy, so I had to thin out probably 80% of the seedlings. The remaining ones each have their own little personalities and markings.
I highly recommend Coleus for the first-time grower; it's amazingly gratifying.
