Nice coffee composting! Maybe you've already read this but here is an interesting tid bit from the Rodale Book of Composting:<br/><br/>"Earthworms seem to have a particular affinity for coffee grounds so be sure to use these leftovers on the compost pile, in your worm box, or as mulch. The grounds are acidic and can be used by themselves around blueberries, evergreens, and other acid loving plants."<br/><br/>Our blueberry plants can use some love and neither Aaron nor I drink coffee. So we might be hitting you up for some grounds!

I think you'll find that coffee grounds will also affect the color of your hydrangeas - though towards pink or blue I'm not sure. I think this is because of the acidity.

What a nice story. Coffee grounds are great for composting. I used to work for the mermaid (SBucks) but never become an addict to coffee. I'd love to start composting but have no space to do so and probably not enough things to compost. I'm not a healthy eater shame on me and all that pasta and chicken.

Vanillalotus- <br/><br/>You might actually be able to get away with worm composting if you have a small spot under your kitchen sink or in a laundry room type of area. <br/><br/>I do my worm composting in a small spot in my crawlspace. If i downsized my bin I could probably get away with having it under my sink.

Thank you June. I was wondering if I could a worm bin somewhere like that. My balcony would fry the worms.
