Last Sunday (7 days ago), Rebecca and I planted a variety of seeds. It's somewhat embarrassing, but this is the first time we've attempted to start anything from seed, so it's been interesting to watch the growth.
Within a day or two, Rebecca's Ipomoea ×multifida (cardinal climber) had emerged. We left for a few days, and upon returning, they were 4 inches tall and pushing the lid off the greenhouse. Not bad for 7 days from seed packet to seedling.
My Coleus (coleus) has started to sprout, but is still quite short.
The Capsicum chinense (aji) seeds I put in the dirt have yet to show any activity. Likewise with my Viola tricolor (johnny jumpup).
