This is a volunteer in a pile of rocks near my shop. For those global warming skeptics out there, my shop is located in west central Georgia, USA. (I am definitely a global warming skeptic, BTW.) This plant appear a couple of years ago and seems to be thriving in the rocks. I thought that the blossoms were worth a photo since they are unusual and really quite pretty. Unfortunately, the blossoms only last a couple of days and then dry up. Fortunately, there are still a couple of more buds yet to bloom.
