We bought this house a year and a half ago.  The lawn, beds and overall property was very well maintained with flowers, shrubs, trees, a vegetable garden, etc.

The first year, we decided to just see what grew.  Now we're entering our second spring in a few months.  Here's my attempt to organize, document and plan for what seems to be a garden beyond my expertise.  Diving in now!
